Our National College drama team participated in the Samashthi 2025 college drama competition, held as part of the 25th anniversary celebrations of Samashti Rangam theatre group. We performed the play “Twelfth Night” , translated into Kannada by Prof. Lakshminarayan Bhat from the original work by William Shakespeare. Our team won several awards, including:
– Best Actor: Amit Gowda
– 2nd Best Actor: none mentioned but 3rd best actor – Sreevaths
– Best Supporting Actor: Sharath Sagar
– Best Actress 2nd: Aishwarya
– 3rd Best Actress: Anushree
– Best Supporting Actress: Sanjana (for her role as Maria)
– Best Comedian: Pranav
– Best Stage Design: 12th Night
– Best Costume Design: 12th Night
– Best Play: 12th Night (1st place)
