A Passion for Electronics
What is the roll of Electronics in the modern world? How are we communicating with Opportunity rover on the Mars? Is it possible to make computers of the size of a bacterium? These are just some of the questions that motivate faculty and students alike in the Electronics department at the National College Jayanagar, Bangalore. Our department will enable students find answers to these and many other fundamental questions.
The department of Electronics was Established in 1990 by the generous donations of funds by Dr.A.H Rama Rao, the Former President of the National Education Society and Sri B.C.S Narayan the then Vice President of National Education Society. Prof K.S.NATARAJ guided the department till 2004.From 2004 it is headed by Prof. CHELUVAPPA.S and supported by Prof. M.MAHADEVA.
The department is committed to excellence in teaching and learning.It strives to provide quality education to the students. Dedicated faculty and staff of the department love what they do and work hard to help our students succeed. We offer small class sizes. The class room teaching is enhanced with use of PPT, Smart boards. The department is organizing workshops, guest lectures, student seminars, lecture completion, Peer learning, poster presentation etc in order to achieve all round development of the students. To develop practical skills rigrous practical training is given in well equipped laboratories. Faculties encourage and guide students to develop and build mini and major projects.
